About the Journal

TECNOCIENCIA CHIHUAHUA, is a multidisciplinary journal, of continuous publication, that publishes scientific articles and notes, as well as original and unpublished literature review, in Spanish and English, in a Diamond Open Access electronic format.

The objective of TECNOCIENCIA CHIHUAHUA is to disseminate the results and advances of original and unpublished research in the fields of Food, Biology, Health, Agriculture, Physical Culture, Engineering and Technology, Chemistry and Natural Resources to researchers, academics, students and the general public with a scientific interest.

The scientific content and quality of the articles are evaluated by at least three referees specialised in the field in an anonymous, double-blind review process.

TECNOCIENCIA CHIHUAHUA is published and financed by the Research and Postgraduate Department of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico. The journal adheres to the San Francisco Declaration through DORA (Declaration on Research Assessment) and is indexed in  specialized portals such as DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) and MIAR (Matriz de Información para el Análisis de Revistas) Latindex 2.0, Periódica, LatinREV and in academic networks such as Google Scholar, Biblat and Academia. The journal has a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) through the international organisation Crossref.
