About the Journal

TECNOCIENCIA CHIHUAHUA is a multidisciplinary journal, of annual continued publication, that publishes scientific articles and notes, as well as original and unpublished review articles, in Spanish and English, in diamond open access electronic format.

The objective of TECNOCIENCIA CHIHUAHUA is to disseminate the results and advances of original and unpublished research in the areas of Food, Biology, Health, Agriculture, Physical Culture, Engineering and Technology, Chemistry, and Natural Resources, aimed at researchers, academics, students, and the general public with an interest in science.

The scientific content and quality of the articles are evaluated through an anonymous double-blind peer review process by at least three referees specialized in the field.

TECNOCIENCIA CHIHUAHUA is published and funded by the Research and Graduate Studies Department of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico. The journal is recognized by SECIHTI's National System of Scientific and Humanities Publications. The journal adheres to the San Francisco Declaration through DORA (Declaration on Research Assessment) and is indexed in various international indexes such as DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), ROAD (Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources), MIAR (Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals), Latindex 2.0 (38 points out of 38), Periódica, LatinREV and in academic networks such as Google Scholar, Biblat and Academia. The journal has a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) through the international organisation Crossref.
