Checklist for submission preparation

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all the elements listed below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to the authors:

- The author should nominate 3 potential referees related to the field of expertise using this link.
- The manuscript has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by another journal (or an explanation is provided in the Comments to the Editor).
- The author sends the manuscript cover letter (available in the Guide for Authors).
- The author should upload his/her article, Word version, for production (available in the Guide for Authors).
- The author should upload his/her article, Word version, for peer review (without author names or affiliations).
- The author should upload tables and figures (described in the Guide for Authors)
- The author should upload a graphical abstract (described in the Guide for Authors).
