Abstract

This fascicle includes diverse and interesting articles about physical activity and other factors in university students. It also discusses topics such as the velocity and flow rate of the water conveyed and the roughness coefficient caused by sediments in the channel. In addition, the awareness that is being generated about the emission of gases into the atmosphere and its impact on the environment will be discussed. Finally, the impact of the field work carried out by a group of professors, interns and students of Itch Campeche will be analyzed.

Author Biography

  • César Humberto Rivera Figueroa, UACH. Editor en Jefe

    Durante el periodo 1967-1971, cursó su licenciatura en la Escuela de Agronomía de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (hoy Facultad de Ciencias Agrícolas y Forestales) recibiendo, en el año de 1972, el título de Ingeniero Agrónomo. Realizó estudios de maestría en la Rama de Genética del Colegio de Posgraduados (COLPOS) y obtuvo en 1977 el grado de Maestría en Ciencias Especialidad Genética. En 1991 y 1998 obtuvo, respectivamente, los grados de Master of Science (Horticulture) y Doctor of Phylosophy (orientación Genética y Fisiología de Cultivos), grados que le fueron otorgados por New Mexico State University. Ha sido profesor por 47 años, e investigador por 45 años, y ha trabajado para diversas Instituciones de Educación Superior del país (Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León y Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua) y como asistente de investigador de New Mexico State University. Actualmente es Profesor de Tiempo Completo de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrotecnológicas de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua y ocupa el cargo de Jefe del Departamento de Investigación, de la Dirección de Investigación y Posgrado de la misma Universidad, puesto que ha desempeñado por 13 años.
