In this issue we will discuss various topics such as the mineral elements required by human beings for their optimal development, however, it is estimated that between 60 to 80% of the population with malnutrition is deficient in iron, zinc, iodine and selenium. Likewise, it will be shown how diabetes is one of the main public health problems worldwide and Mexico is no exception. An analysis will be made of the process of the construction of masculinities, making reference to some elements observed in the city of Chihuahua with data from the university environment. On the other hand, we will comment on banana plantations in Mexico. It also includes a study that reflects on the application of public a reflection on the application of conservationist public policies to protect the vaquita porpoise (Phocoena sinus). Finally, it will be shown how one of the main limitations for the replanting of grasslands in arid and semi-arid zones is the low availability of forage grass seed.
