Introduction Muscle injuries are a major concern in professional soccer teams due to their high incidence, costs, downtime, and reduced sporting success. As an example, inguinal muscle injuries are perhaps the most complex in sports medicine due to their multiple taxonomy, anatomy Methodology A descriptive study was conducted in 31 male professional soccer players from the first division of Colombia where the strength of the hip adductors and abductors was measured using the ForceFrame device from the VALD Performance company. The measurement variable was defined as the strength in newtons and the percentage of asymmetry. Results It was found that for the left hip adductor an average force value of 425N±99N, minimum of 235N and maximum of 597N was evidenced. The right hip adductor had an average strength value of 425N ± 92N, minimum of 268N, maximum of 614N with an asymmetry value of 4% respectively. Additionally, for the left hip abductor an average strength value of 461N ± 80N, minimum of 282N and maximum of 612N was found and the right hip abductor had an average strength value of 478N ± 75N, minimum of 35N and maximum of 629N with an asymmetry percentage of 4%. Conclusion, the Forceframe device allows the optimal and valid evaluation of the strength profile of hip adductors and abductors allowing their monitoring in real time, adapting the results for constant analysis and follow-up.
