The present research aimed to analyze the perception of parents about self-regulation in preschool children, during the pandemic, emphasizing the gender distinction. That is, if there are differences in the promotion of behaviors related to self-regulation, and the present self-regulation activities perceived by parents. Methodology: it is a non-experimental, cross-sectional study, with the application of a 15-question questionnaire, validated using the Delphi method, with optimal items for its application. The average age of the boys and girls evaluated was 60.7 months, 51 boys 61.10 months (±9.28) and 62 girls 59.60 months (±9.67). The study underwent a descriptive analysis and a MANOVA multivariate analysis of variance to determine differences between genders. Results: There are no significant differences in the items according to gender. Conclusion: There is equity on the perception of self-regulation by gender.
