La Indeterminación en “El huésped” de Amparo Dávila.
Aproximaciones hermenéuticas al enigma fantástico.

The antagonist character in “El huésped”, Amparo Davila’s short story, stands out due to indeterminacy and/or the fansasy enigma rooted in him, thus consolidating one of the effects intended by the fantasy literature. This indeterminacy operates at the narrative and syntactic level, and given its mysterious nature and the signals inserted by the author throughout the story, it becomes susceptible to interpretive analysis. Analog hermeneutics, proposed by Mauricio Beuchot, is the appropriate method to approach the possible answers about the essence of the Huésped due to the interpretive balance that its exercise implies.
