Abstract

In The Neverending Story Michael Ende describes a narrative sequence that was impossible to achieve at the time, where the narrator tells the story as the action happens. This quest is as commonplace today as a synthetic voice narrating the road as we drive, thanks to GPS. This metaphor, once close to divine creations, is now routine thanks to digital tools, we use it every day to get to a place without getting lost.

The term Trandigital represents linking reality with fiction from electronic tools to create data driven narratives. In this era in which humans share our lives in digital media, from photographs of our environment to our geolocated location, the transmedial capacity of the stories becomes exponential.
