Abstract

Through a conceptual and visual archeology of the simulacrum and the antichrist,
crossings and proximities can be established throughout their own stories. The simulacrum,
defined as a process of representation for impersonation of what’s real by another order of
reality, its conjugated by the impersonation’s process of the antichrist. Resulting in
considerations supported by images which allow for a rethinking of scopic and truth regimes;
about the symbolic and the diabolic, and how the simulacrum’s processes create
disequilibrium and violent extremes.
