Abstract

This document is part of a broader research project aimed at analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence on human talent management within organizations. At this initial stage, a qualitative and descriptive literature review was conducted to identify the main applications of artificial intelligence in recruitment, performance evaluation, and employee development, as well as the ethical and cultural challenges associated with its implementation.Through the analysis of academic and technical sources published between 2020 and 2025, it was found that artificial intelligence has significantly transformed the human resources function by streamlining processes and redefining human-technology interactions. At the same time, concerns have emerged regarding data privacy, algorithmic bias, and organizational culture shifts. The findings support the specific objectives proposed for this phase and provide a solid foundation for the subsequent empirical stage. It is concluded that integrating artificial intelligence into human talent management offers valuable opportunities but requires ethical and strategic approaches that prioritize transparency, fairness, and respect for the human dimension of work.
