2. It is essential that the corresponding author, at the time of submission, includes the complete details of the persons collaborating on the article (if any), as once the article is accepted, no modifications can be made.
- The total number of authors for Scientific Articles is a maximum of four (4) persons.
- The total number of authors for Book Reviews is one (1) person.

3. Authors must fill out all fields with complete information in their registration form:
• General information: full name, academic degree, current position, postal and email address, phone number, place of affiliation (if applicable).
• ORCID: author identification number (https://orcid.org/)
• Review interests, specifying the different areas in which they are interested in subscribing.

4. Each article must include the following information:
• A cover page containing the title of the work, limited to a maximum of 15 words.
• An abstract of the submission, with a maximum length of 250 words. This abstract must be written in both Spanish and English, ensuring that the English translation is done by a professional.

• Up to three JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) classification codes.

5. Notes, if any, must be inserted at the end of the document, before the list of references, duly numbered in the order they appeared.

6. Tables and illustrations must be accompanied by the word "Table" or "Figure" and numbered consecutively, always citing their source. They must also be placed in the appropriate location within the body of the work and not in separate files.

7. The format and citation style of submissions must follow the guidelines of the 7th Edition of the APA (American Psychological Association) Style Manual. This includes using Arial o Times New Roman 10-point font, single spacing, and single-column text layout, as well as using headings according to APA's specified levels. Please, use the Microsoft Word template provided by this journal (download here).

It is essential that authors ensure that in-text citations are correctly linked with the reference list. References at the end of the article should be organized alphabetically, without numbering, and in the case of Hispanic or Latino authors publishing with both surnames, these should be hyphenated.

There are differences in the content and structure of each category of scientific writings. Specific standards for each category are described in the following paragraphs:

a. Scientific Article (10 to 15 pages excluding bibliographic references)

The Scientific Article represents a comprehensive and novel research study based on an exhaustive review of updated scientific literature. Its development is grounded in a methodology that emphasizes the use of primary sources, and its results are analyzed using innovative or traditional analytical tools, properly substantiated.

At Economicus Journal of Business and Economics Insights, articles with a methodology consisting of an exhaustive literature review are accepted, provided that the objective and method used are clearly explained, with a minimum of 40 sources reviewed.

The manuscript should preferably be structured according to the following sections:
- Title (in Spanish and English)
- Author(s)
- Abstract (in Spanish and English)
- Keywords (in Spanish and English)
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions, Limitations and Recommendations
- Cited and/or Consulted Literature, Bibliography, or References

b. Critical Review (7 to 10 pages)

The Critical Review is defined as an evaluative analysis directed at books published in economic fields, or those that can be evaluated from a business and innovation perspective. Preference is given to reviews of books published in the current year or the year immediately preceding the publication of the corresponding issue of the journal. The maximum age criterion for book selection is books published in the last 2 years. It is important to note that only one author per review is allowed.

The components are:
- Title
- Authors of the book to be reviewed
- Author of the review
- Abstract (in Spanish and English)
- Bibliographic data of the reviewed work
- Introduction
- Development
- Textual quotes from the reviewed book
- Conclusions

NOTE: Incomplete versions will not be accepted. Each page will contain between 35 and 40 lines maximum. The specified number of pages refers to the content of the article. Please, use the MS Word template provided by this journal.
