This paper considers, based on the understanding that the body is decisive for being-in-the-world, the possibility of a philosophy of the flesh that glimpses or attends to the corporality that emerges from sports practice. At first, the differences between an objective organic body and a self-organized and animated sensitive organism from the phenomenology of Merleau Ponty are addressed. Subsequently, it is pointed out that sport makes evident a sensitive and motor corporality but, depending on the sports practice, different elements of corporality are presented. Finally, a sports corporality consisting of a particular perception of oneself and of the world is enunciated, giving guidelines for a philosophy of flesh that is necessary in our context.
