The objective of the article was to analyze the necessary conditions to become a digital entrepreneur. The study was carried out through detailed documentary analysis, digital content analysis, bibliographic revision and recollection; as well as the revision of online statistical data. The main limitation was related to the methodology itself, using only online information sources and statistical data web available. The main contribution of this article is in the findings; for example the characteristics of digital entrepreneurship such as innovation and the intensive use of scientific and technological knowledge. In addition, the article concludes the ability to use, manage and apply disruptive technologies is necessary to innovate in the projects that create new companies.
