Corporate social responsibility is a relevant component in the education of professionals capable of recognizing the ethical and social implications of their actions. This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of university and business stakeholders regarding the contribution of corporate social responsibility to student education at a public higher education institution. A mixed-methods, descriptive, and exploratory approach was employed, using a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 1,319 participants, including students, faculty members, administrative staff, and business representatives, who completed an online survey. The results showed that 74.3% of participants considered that educational institutions have a considerable or strong influence on the development of social and ethical values, while 89.3% agreed or strongly agreed that social responsibility contributes to students’ holistic development. Statistically significant differences were also identified among stakeholder groups regarding this contribution (F = 8.573; p < .001), with higher ratings reported by administrative staff and faculty members. It is concluded that university and business stakeholders share a favorable perception of the educational contribution of corporate social responsibility; however, the intensity of this perception differs according to stakeholder profile, highlighting the importance of considering both university and business perspectives when examining its role in professional education.
