The objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) among entrepreneurs in Chihuahua, to examine the barriers that hinder its adoption within organizations, and to identify the perceived benefits derived from its implementation. A quantitative research approach was employed using a descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire consisting of 25 Likert-scale items. The instrument demonstrated acceptable reliability, with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.795, based on a sample of 102 entrepreneurs. The findings reveal a high level of awareness of CSR and an overall positive perception of its contribution to enhancing the competitiveness, reputation, and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The study also identified that the main barriers to CSR implementation are associated with limited access to information, insufficient training, a lack of practical tools, and inadequate knowledge of available support programs, rather than economic constraints. It is therefore concluded that entrepreneurs are willing to incorporate CSR into new business ventures; however, strengthening training and business advisory processes through strategies that promote socially responsible practices from the early stages of business development is essential.
