Economicus Journal of Business and Economics Insights (JBEI) is a peer‑reviewed scientific journal, Diamond Open Access, published on a semiannual basis. It is dedicated to disseminating original research articles through rigorous peer‑review procedures. Its editorial policies safeguard the integrity of published content and uphold the highest standards of ethical publishing practices.

Economicus JBEI seeks to foster the open and plural communication of knowledge across diverse topics within the social sciences, particularly in the field of economic sciences, and disciplines such as economic activity, business management, technological innovation, and digital finance.

The journal values the adoption of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches that integrate other areas of knowledge. Its purpose is to disseminate original and unpublished research that provides theoretical, practical, and methodological contributions of relevance to both the academic and professional communities.

The journal accepts original and unpublished manuscripts in Spanish or English throughout the year on topics related to:

All submissions undergo a rigorous evaluation and selection process in accordance with international editorial standards. Metadata of articles published in Spanish are also provided in English to ensure global accessibility.

Economicus JBEI applies an external peer‑review system under the double‑blind review methodology, following the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA). This system guarantees authors an objective, impartial, and transparent review process, facilitating the journal’s inclusion in international databases, repositories, and reference indexes.

In addition, all manuscripts are subjected to analysis using anti-plagiarism software (iThenticate), establishing a maximum limit of 10% similarity and undeclared use of Artificial Intelligence (please, see the Artificial Intelligence use policy). These measures ensure the originality and intellectual authorship of the works.
