Open Access Policy

Economicus Journal of Business and Economics Insights (JBEI) provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge. Its objective is to comply with the open access standards of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

Economicus JBEI does not charge for publication; there are no fees for submission, processing, or article publication. As part of a Mexican public university, the journal is committed to open access to knowledge without any restrictions. In this regard, all content of Economicus JBEI is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows free use for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the authors of each article.

1. Copyright
The Authors retain the copyright of published works and allows their reuse under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license.
a. The authorship and original source of the publication must be cited (journal, publisher, URL, and DOI of the work).
b. The content must not be used for commercial or profitable purposes.
c. The existence and specifications of this usage license must be mentioned.
d. The publication will assign a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to each article.

2. Open Access Policy
Economicus JBEI is a Diamond Open Access journal, freely available without temporal restrictions.

3. Self-archiving Policy
Authors are permitted to reuse their published works, meaning that the post-print (the final version after peer review or the publisher’s PDF) may be archived for non-commercial purposes, including deposit in institutional or thematic repositories, or on personal websites.

4. Reader Rights
Readers have the right to read all our articles for free immediately after publication. This publication does not charge any fees for publication or access to its material.

5. Automatic Publishing
Economicus JBEI will make its articles available in trusted third-party repositories immediately after publication.

6. Archiving
The Institutional Repository of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua digitally archives and ensures indexing of published articles.

7. Machine Readability and Interoperability
The full text, metadata, and citations of the articles can be tracked and accessed with permission. Our open social policy also allows for the readability of files and their metadata, promoting interoperability under the OAI-PMH protocol for open data and open-source code. The files, including complete publications and segmented by articles, are available in open formats such as HTML, XML, and also in PDF, and others, facilitating readability on any device and computing platform.

8. Privacy Statement
The names, addresses, and other personal information entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the purposes stated in it and will not be provided to third parties or used for other purposes.
