About the Journal

Established in early 2024, Economicus Journal of Business and Economics Insights (JBEI) has been recognized for publishing articles of scientific rigor and practical relevance, dedicated to the study of economic activity, the advancement of business management, and the strengthening of ties between academia and the productive sector. This mission reflects the commitment of the Faculty of International Economics at the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, the founding and responsible institution of the journal, to place economic and business science at the service of society and to promote a reciprocal enrichment between the academic and business spheres

Economicus JBEI is a peer‑reviewed scientific journal, Diamond Open Access, published on a semiannual basis. It is dedicated to disseminating original research articles through rigorous peer‑review procedures. Its editorial policies safeguard the integrity of published content and uphold the highest standards of ethical publishing practices.

It is edited by the Research Groups UACH‑CA‑157 Business Economics and Technological Innovation, and UACH‑CA‑143 Labor Market Studies and Inequality of the Faculty of International Economics at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico.

Economicus JBEI is funded by the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, a public Mexican university with no profit motive. In line with this nature, the journal is also published on a non-profit basis and does not impose any charges on authors for the management, evaluation, or publication of manuscripts.

The journal welcomes manuscripts in English and Spanish, aiming to promote international academic exchange and to advance the dissemination of knowledge in economics, business, and related social sciences
