This paper examines Ruling T-339 of 2022 to determine the scope of fundamental rights in light of the use and potential abuse of social networks. It uses a qualitative method with a descriptive and critical approach based on the study of the jurisprudential bibliographic material issued by the Colombian Constitutional Court. This analysis addresses the tension between the use of social networks and the protection of the right to privacy from the perspective of human dignity. In addition, it identifies the normative scope regarding the affectation of the right to privacy and good name in the use of social networks.
