Abstract

Abstract. An artistic perspective of female migration is presented, starting with a series of portraits (graphite/charcoal, sepia, sanguine, color, and oil) and the qualitative research technique based on art. The 41 women selected for the 45 portraits are Venezuelan migrants under 30 years of age. It is noteworthy to review some of these processes, in light of the new independent archetype of the female gender present in the 21st century. This is an initiative driven by a migrant, who provides a personal vision of the reality of gender, and a subjective and interpretive reading of harmonic expressions, where a unique identity is found. In these images, there are no contexts, but instead, each portrait is introspective, which is part of its qualities and the style chosen to capture the faces. They share serenity and harmony, necessary to face the difficulties that typically arise in the female gender.
