Las habilidades para la vida y su relación con la felicidad en un grupo de trabajadores colombianos

El articulo presenta resultados de un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo-correlacional, de diseño no experimental y transversal orientado a describir las habilidades para la vida y su relación con la felicidad en un grupo de trabajadores colombianos. Participaron 60 trabajadores operarios y administrativos, con edad promedio de M 26,7 (Dt.9) años, de los cuales 50,9% (29) fueron mujeres y 49,1 (28) hombres. Se aplicó la escala de felicidad de Alarcon (2006) y el cuestionario de habilidades para la vida de Diaz et al. (2013). Resultado indican la presencia de deficiencias a nivel de habilidades para la vida y bajos niveles de felicidad en la muestra de los trabajadores. Los operarios presentaron un mayor pensamiento creativo y los administrativos un mayor nivel de manejo de sentimientos y emociones. El pensamiento creativo mostró correlación positiva con todos los componentes de la felicidad, destacando su rol como habilidad transversal para el bienestar y felicidad. El manejo emocional se vinculó con mayor alegría de vivir y sentido de vida, reforzando la importancia de programas de inteligencia emocional en el trabajo. Se discuten las implicaciones prácticas de los hallazgos para la atención psicosocial de los trabajadores
