Temporal and historical experience in the face of hyperacceleration

Abstract

This text addresses the human experience of time and its acceleration in the present day, due to the dynamics of production and productivity established since modernity but intensified in postmodernity. This analysis begins by describing the historical-hermeneutical position of humankind and its modification over time; from this, it describes the symptoms of current historical time, highlighting the phenomenon of late-modern hyperacceleration, which has been discussed in various ways by Reinhart Koselleck and Giacomo Marramao, among others.
